Canastota Little League is hosting the 2024 MLB Pitch Hit & Run Competition and also the MLB JR HR Derby! Both events are to be held on the same day and are FREE but do require online registration.

The Pitch, Hit & Run program is a free event series for boys and girls, and consists of a series of movements that are important in baseball and softball. Participants will compete in either 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, or 13-14 age division, with the Age Cut-off set on November 15, 2024. They will compete in Pitching (no actual pitching experience required), hitting (all ages off of a tee), and running. All stations will be recorded for points. Based on their scores, they will have the opportunity to advance from a Local Event to a Team Championship and then to the Finals hosted at the World Series.

The MLB JR HR DERBY (Jr. HRD) is a free event series for softball and baseball players - ages 12 to 16 - to showcase their hitting skills, compete against their peers and for a chance to advance to regionals and then finals.
