Tee Ball Baseball is for boys and girls 4- 5 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. |
| Coaches Pitch**:
Coaches Pitch League Baseball is for boys and girls 5-6 years old. In the Coaches Pitch Division, the objective is to build team-skills and develop personal skills. More emphasis is placed on hitting techniques than in the T-Ball division.
**Canastota Little League reserves the option to combine Tee Ball and Coaches Pitch based on the number of registrations each year.

| Minor Baseball Division:
Minor League Baseball program is to prepare players for selection to the Majors Division and utilizes a 46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths. This level of play is player-pitch, pitch count rules apply. The minor league division will be structured for league ages 7-10 year old (based on skill) players. All minor age players are required to attend evaluations prior to the start of the season.
Minor Softball Division:
The Minor Softball division is for girls league age 7-10 and uses a 60-ft diamond and a 35 foot pitching distance.

The Major Baseball Division utilizes a 46-foot pitching distance and 60-ft base paths. This division is structured for league age 9-12 year old (based on skill) players. Pitch count rules apply. All Major age players are required to attend evaluations prior to the start of the season.
